Instructions

1

Buy the Right Mirror

Mirrors are vehicle-specific. Note if yours is power, heated, or with turn signal. Buy a direct OEM replacement or compatible aftermarket unit.

2

Remove the Door Panel

Pop off the small interior panel cover at the mirror mounting area (usually a triangle-shaped piece). This exposes the mounting bolts without removing the full door panel.

3

Disconnect the Electrical Connector

For powered mirrors, carefully disconnect the wiring harness connector. Press the release tab and pull straight out — do not yank the wires.

4

Remove Mounting Bolts

Remove the 2-3 mounting nuts or bolts from the interior of the door panel cutout. Support the mirror from outside so it doesn't fall.

5

Install New Mirror

Position the new mirror and thread in the bolts by hand first. Reconnect the electrical connector (it only goes in one way). Tighten bolts snugly — do not overtighten.

6

Test and Adjust

Test all mirror functions — power adjustment, fold, heat. Adjust to the proper position for driving.
