Instructions
Position the Washer
Place the washer near the hot and cold water connections and drain standpipe. Leave 4-6 inches behind for hoses. Ensure the floor is level.
Connect Inlet Hoses
Attach new braided stainless inlet hoses to the back of the washer — hot to hot, cold to cold. Connect the other ends to the wall valves. Hand-tighten plus a half turn.
Set Up the Drain Hose
Insert the drain hose 6-8 inches into the standpipe or hook it over the side of a utility sink. Do not seal it — air gap prevents siphoning.
Level the Washer
Adjust the front leveling legs and lock them in place. Rock the machine — all four corners should contact the floor. An unlevel washer will vibrate violently.
Connect the Dryer
For electric dryers, use a 4-wire cord and connect to the terminal block: red and black to outer terminals, white to center, green to ground. Attach the exhaust vent.
Vent the Dryer Properly
Use rigid metal or flexible foil duct (not plastic). Keep runs short and straight with as few bends as possible. Vent directly outside — never into walls or attic.
Test Both Appliances
Run an empty wash cycle and check all hose connections for leaks. Run the dryer and feel for airflow at the exterior vent cap.
